On October 29th, the Trumbull Democratic Town Committee honored the senior citizens in town with a free luncheon at the Tashua Knolls Restaurant. Committee Chairwoman Nancy DiNardo welcomed our guests and then town officials, DTC members and area candidates waited tables - serving up a hearty meal of pasta, meatballs, salad and desert. The servers included Minority Leader Mary Beth Thornton, Town Council representative Mark Altieri, DTC Treasurer Mary Markham, DTC members Doug Sutherland and Beryl Kauffman along with Democratic candidates Nancy Wyman, Kevin Lembo, Anthony Musto and Michael Murren. Afterwards, the candidates for local and state offices thanked everyone for coming and made a quick pitch for their support on election day. All indications were that a good time was had by all.
