On Saturday, October 30th, US Senate candidate Richard Blumenthal made a campaign stop in Trumbull Center. Campaigning with State Senate candidate Anthony Musto, Blumenthal surprised the breakfast crowd at Marie's Sandwich Shop chatting with the staff and patrons at the counter and dining throughout the busy restaurant. He and Musto then stopped in at Kenny Z's Salon to find the staff decked out in Halloween costumes to entertain their clients. Blumenthal shook hands and posed for pictures before heading off to his next campaign stop.
